All About Mariam

Bubbly Mariam is ready to inject some positivity into The Lodge - as long as she’s kept fed. “I’m always happy and I’m always energetic. You never see me upset unless there's no food.”

The 23-year-old says women are the stronger sex because “we take on a lot more, emotionally and physically”, and that the Girls should win because “in general, we are always limited and there's only so much that people think we can do”.

Mariam is not a fan of aggressiveness or negativity. When it comes to the opposite sex, she tells us: “I don’t like arrogant guys; someone who thinks he is the best at everything and won’t take criticism.”

While she says she’s going to try and steer clear of the Boys to make sure she doesn’t get distracted, she describes her type as “like Anthony Joshua but maybe a bit rougher”.

This vlogger says when it comes to the show, being nice could be both a strength and a weakness. “I trust too easily and if I open up, which I do quite a lot, it could smack me in the face.”

Let’s hope Mariam doesn’t play too nicely!
