There are two stages to the voting. The first stage commenced in May 2022. Viewers were able to vote for their favourite contenders from amongst a long-list of shows and stars (“the Longlist”) in 16 categories. Voting closed and the results were used to create the Shortlist for the second stage (“the Shortlist”). This features the 4 or 5 nominees with the most votes in each category from the Longlist. Votes from both the Longlist and Shortlist stages are added together to create the results that will be broadcast in the live show.
B. Voting times:
The Shortlist vote opens at 00:01 BST on Tuesday 23rd August 2022 and closes at 12:00 (noon) BST on Thursday 13 October 2022.
