UTV FAQs

Why do I have to register to watch content on the ITV Hub?Here at ITV, we are committed to bringing you truly unmissable telly, and to keep doing that we need a bit more information from you. This kind of basic information allows us to be informed about the kinds of programmes particular groups of users are watching. As a commercial business, ITV relies on funds from advertising to bring you shows and services you love for free, so this information allows us to carry on doing so in a more tailored way.

Where can I catch up on UTV news? The news offering will now be part of ITV News. You can catch up on all the latest news video clips by going to the Northern Ireland section of the ITV news website - http://www.itv.com/news/utv

Where can I catch up on regional programmes?Regional programming will be available on the ITV. com website - http://www.itv.com/utvprogrammes

I live in Northern Ireland and I still cannot view the ITV Hub, why is this? The ITV Hub is only available to UK viewers, however some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) route their traffic through servers hosted outside the UK. In this instance, your IP address will recognise you as a non-UK resident and you won’t be able to watch any programmes. You can contact your ISP for advice if you think this may be occurring.
