The Promoter is unable to confirm the integrity of and is not responsible for any vote services promoted outside the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man or for any unofficial voting methods as these are not within their control. Votes must not be sent in through agents or on behalf of another person, and viewers cannot submit votes as an agent of any other person. The Promoter and the programme producers reserve the right to discount votes if they have reasonable grounds to suspect they have been made from outside the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man from unofficial third party voting services or otherwise in breach of any applicable terms and conditions. Please note it is not possible to vote via any method not stated in these terms and conditions.
Voting opens on Monday 21 January 2019 and closes as announced in the Programme on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
You may vote up to one (1) time per registered phone number.
The breeds of dogs will be ranked from first place to tenth place according to how many eligible votes they have received, with the breed of dog that receives the highest number of eligible votes placing first and the breed of dog that receives the lowest number of eligible votes placing tenth.
The top 10 breeds and their respective places will be revealed during the programme on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
If there is a tie in the number of eligible votes received in respect of two or more breeds of dog, or if there is any disruption to the voting platform due to technical problems or otherwise during the voting period, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion either: (a) refer to the results of the wider survey that was conducted to determine Britain’s favourite 100 dog breeds (“Wider Survey”); or (b) combine any eligible votes received with the results of the Wider Survey to determine the outcome of Britain’s favourite dog breed. Where the Promoter in its sole discretion has rendered the vote invalid, then the Promoter shall refer to the results of the Wider Survey to determine the outcome of Britain’s favourite dog breed.
