Voting is now closed for 2019. Winners to be announced soon!

The People's Projects gave you the chance to decide how NationalLottery funding can make a difference in your local community.

This year, 95 local community projects and organisations from our nations and regions

across the UK were shortlisted and went to the public vote with a chance of winning up to £50,000. Since 2005 when the initiative was known as ‘The People’s Millions’, National Lottery grants worth around £42 million have been awarded to 960 Good Causes across the UK.

How the grants are awarded

Five local community projects and organisations in each of our19 news regions competed for public votes. The three projects from each region that received the highest number of votes will receive up to £50,000 each. The runners up will be considered for grants of up to £5,000 each. The process is independently adjudicated by Electoral Reform Services.
