Meg Birch

Meg Birch made the Coaches sit up and pay attention from the very first note of her Blind Audition. Her impressive take on Ella Eyre’s ‘If I Go’ earned her turns from both Tom and Anne-Marie, and the 25-year-old added herself to Anne-Marie’s impressive girl squad of Acts.

Meg’s almighty vocals were back in action as she went up against rap force Jason Hayles in the Battles. Their take on Rudimental featuring Jess Glynne and Macklemore’s ‘These Days’ was a perfect duet, and an ecstatic Meg did enough to convince Anne-Marie that she was worthy of a Semi-Final spot.

Meg came out with a new sense of confidence as she hit the Semi-Finals stage with a powerful performance of Grace Carter’s ‘Why Her Not Me’. “This song is fighting back and going, ‘no I do deserve to be here!” she told the Coaches. Take a look at why Meg’s exactly right!
