Trinity-Leigh Cooper's Journey to the Semi-Final
She’s the youngest Act to reach the Semi-Final, but Trinity-Leigh Cooper sings beyond her 17 years, telling a powerful story with every song. Let’s relive Trinity-Leigh’s incredible journey to the Semi-Final with Team Meghan.
The Tredegar student chose a big song for her Blind Audition, and the emotion in her version of Demi Levato’s ‘Stone Cold’ was felt by us all.
Meghan and Olly felt it too, running to the stage to give her a hug after turning their chairs. It was Meghan that Trinity-Leigh connected with, picking her pop icon’s Team to join.
Things got very real in the Battles as Trinity-Leigh went up against 16-year-old Holly Scally, singing Avril Lavigne’s ‘Keep Holding On’ with that raw emotion we’ve come to know and love.
And it was exactly what her Coach was looking for, as Meghan chose Trinity-Leigh to progress to the next round.
Knockouts time for Trinity-Leigh called for a Knockout track from a big female vocalist.
Her version of Lauren Daigle’s ‘You Say’ was exactly that, and Trinity-Leigh’s family could be heard screaming from across the studio as the teary singer found out she would be heading to the Semi-Final!
