'I spent seven hours rescuing people from Grenfell, but don't call me a hero'

On June 14th 2017, 72 people lost their lives in the deadliest domestic fire since World War Two, sparking outrage, protests, and sadness across the country. On that fateful day, the London Fire Brigade battled desperately to save the residents trapped inside the burning building.

Ahead of a one-off ITV documentary airing tonight, one retired London Fire Brigade firefighter, Aldo Diana, joins us to talk about how his crew battled fire, smoke and burning debris for seven hours, why he shouldn't be a called a hero and talks openly about the devastating impact of Grenfell as we approach the one year anniversary.
