Alesha Dixon: I've got everything crossed for Simon's BGT return

Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon told Eamonn and Ruth that she's hoping Simon Cowell will be well enough to return to Britain's Got Talent in time for the live shows.

Speaking with Eamonn and Ruth, she revealed that she's been in touch with Simon's family since his recent bicycle accident and is hopeful that he'll be able to join the judging panel when Britain Got Talent resumes later this year.

"I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that, come the live shows for Britain's Got Talent, we can hopefully have Simon on a live link," she said.

Alesha joined Eamonn and Ruth on World Elephant Day to tell us why she's campaigning to protect the creatures.

Elephant washing tourist attractions in Thailand have tripled in the last five years  – despite animals suffering in miserable conditions and being subjected to a cruel training process to make them 'safe' to handle, according to a new report from World Animal Protection.

She told us why she wanted to help after witnessing the poor conditions elephants were enduring when performing for tourists in Thailand.
