Alison Hammond recruits hunky Love Islanders to model boxers in show takeover
Alison Hammond called on some familiar Love Island faces to model boxers for a very special fashion item selected by yours truly.
Hunky Love Islanders Jack Fowler, Michael Griffiths, Danny Williams and Chris Taylor all stripped off to their pants for the fashion segment hosted by Gok Wan, as Alison took the reins as guest editor of This Morning on Friday morning.
Prior to the segment, Alison, who co-hosted alongside Dermot O'Leary, made herself right at home in the studios and kitted them out in signature Alison style, redecorating the sofa with some special cushions and kitting out the crew with their very own, 'Team Alison' t-shirts.
"I'm making myself the star of the show," she explained as she introduced her "co-star" Dermot O'Leary, who admitted he wasn't quite sure what to expect. "I want a side order of fun with my main course of fun," he said, demanding his very own Team Alison t-shirt.
Ahead of her appearance as Alison met with Editor Martin Frizell to discuss the running of the show, with the respected television editor giving his tips from his five years at the helm.
Alison was given the power to decide what topics she wanted to cover from celebrity to features she wanted commissioned.
Speaking ahead of the show she said: “It will just be a joy! There will be nothing about lockdown or coronavirus. There'll be a lot of recipes and food… and maybe a little bit of fashion and fun. It's going to be great and I'm excited to be the boss!”
