Alison takes us on a rocky road!
We're heading round to Alison's for another baking challenge, and this time she's showing us how to make her delicious take on rocky road!
Serves: Makes about 9 squares
200g dark chocolate, broken up into small pieces
125g unsalted butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
200g chocolate bars, chopped up, or marshmallows / nuts
Line a 20cm square baking tin with non-stick baking paper
Place the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl and place over a pan of simmering water to slowly melt
Once the chocolate is melted, allow to cool to room temperature, then mix in the golden syrup and fold in the biscuits and chopped sweets or other ingredients
Tip the mixture into the lined baking tin and flatten out. Place in the fridge for a couple of hours until set.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
