Beth Mead wins Sports Personality of the Year 2022
Beth Mead won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award on Wednesday evening, after her roaring success at the European Championships this Summer.
The Lioness became the first female footballer to win the award, beating gymnast Jessica Gadirova and cricketer Ben Stokes to the top spot.
