Sir Cliff Richard's delicious Christmas gravy
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a bit of Sir Cliff Richard, and he’s here to share his very special Christmas gravy recipe with us!
Sir Cliff's Christmas gravy
2 x large white onions, chopped Olive oilMixed herbs1 tbsp Maggi gravy granules – brown1 tbsp sweet soy sauce1 tbsp Teriyaki sauce1 tbsp Worcestershire sauceOxo cubes – 1 of each (chicken, lamb, beef & vegetable)
Red wine, optional
1. Sweat the sliced onions in a little olive oil until nicely soft.
2. Add in some mixed herbs, and the remaining ingredients, with 800ml boiling water and simmer gently for 30 minutes to cook through and the flavours to infuse.
3. A dash of red wine always improves the recipe!
