Goodwill at Christmas
'Tis the season of goodwill and giving and we are celebrating that this morning by surprising a very generous and humble young girl.
Six-year-old Ava Woods has selflessly been rallying help for the homeless, and today Michael Underwood will be surprising her at her school to help her campaign and reward her charitable nature.
After watching a programme which featured homeless people Ava asked her Mum if they could collect something to give people a big hug this Winter.
Ava has collected blankets and duvets to keep people warm and is encouraging people at her school and in her local community to donate too.
The donations will be split between White Chapel homeless shelter in Liverpool and Thompson's Mission in the Wirrel.
One blanket makes a difference
To reward Ava and her family for all their hard work and kindness we wanted to say a big thank you and give them a little something as a treat themselves!
With thanks to Thomas Cook for the family's holiday
