How to make the most out of life... Whatever it throws at you!
Being a young adult is meant to be all about travelling, partying, and finding your path in life, but for Kris Hallenga, it was anything but. At the age of 23 she was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable secondary breast cancer, throwing her life into disarray. But rather than dwelling on her diagnosis, Kris decided to make the most of a bad situation. She set up a charity, became a newspaper columnist and even received a Pride of Britain Award, and now she’s decided to document all of this in her memoir, titled ‘Glittering a Turd’, which she joins This Morning to talk about today.
