Residents furious at construction of 'monster' 60ft warehouse
Furious residents have blasted a council which approved the construction of a ‘monster’ warehouse right behind their homes after they mistakenly consulted the wrong street. Homeowners on Hooke Close in Corby, Northamptonshire woke up to discover the 60 ft high metal frame on the site of a former Weetabix factory being built just feet from their back doors.
When the neighbours contacted the council they learnt that officials mixed up their street with Hubble Road, a street around half a mile away. This Morning reporter David Blackmore is live in Corby to speak to the residents.
