British actor Richard Armitage is a star of stage and screen. He has played an armed police officer in Spooks, an assassin hired to kill Robin Hood, and had parts in British TV classics such as Cold Feet and The Vicar of Dibley. But it is his role as dwarf King Thorin Oakenshield in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy that has propelled him to Hollywood A-list status.

Richard joins us now to talk all things Hobbit, working with the likes of Orlando Bloom and Benedict Cumberbatch, and falling in love with New Zealand, so much so that he almost stayed there.
