The inspiring wartime heroes hoping to return to Normandy for D-Day

Since the end of the Second World War, London’s black cabbies have been quietly dropping the fare and volunteering their time to care for ‘the greatest generation’. Now they need your help to get to the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

London Cabbie, Paul Cook and Vice Chairman of the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans joins us alongside two wartime heroes, former member of the Anti-Tank Regiment Les Hammond, and former Women's Royal Naval Service Dorothea Barron, to explain why charity means so much to them - and why they are calling on the public to help our wartime heroes to the beaches of Normandy for what could be the last time.
