We meet the 'preppers' who are stocked up for any disaster
New advice from the government has said we should all have three days worth of tinned food and water in case of emergencies such as another pandemic, natural disaster or war so we’re meeting the people who are ahead of the curve and have already been stocking up on essentials for years, ‘just in case’.
We speak to Lincoln Miles who owns the increasingly popular ‘Preppers Shop’ in Cornwall stocking everything from Hazmat suits to gas masks and freeze dried meals. Plus, mother-of-two Dr Sarita Robinson who is showing us her stash of essentials such as chlorine tablets to purify rainwater, a ‘go’ bag packed for any scenario and several months of loo roll.
