Cancer survivor Leanne Parker reveals how she was forced to have her toes removed after a botched-boob-job nearly killed her.
Battling cancer and having a double mastectomy are two of the worst things a woman can face. So being on the road to recovery and planning a breast reconstruction to improve your confidence should prove a positive experience. But for Leanne, 41, it became something quite different.
After undergoing breast reconstruction surgery in February 2011, Leanne, was left in a coma suffering from septicemia and multiple organ failure. The medication which helped Leanne pull through this terrible ordeal left Leanne's hands and feet gangrenous, and resulted in her having all of her toes amputated.
Leanne joins us together with her solicitor Iona Meeres-Young to discuss how having breast implants nearly cost her her life.
