The bridesmaids who were ditched by the bride

We all know the saying 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride', but for Claire, Cassie and Plum it’s a case of 'never the bridesmaid'! That's because all three women were sacked from their roles at different weddings by the bride-to-be...

Claire refused to dye her hair, Cassie was dumped after getting pregnant, and Plum was told she was too tall!

The three biffed bridesmaids join us to share their bridezilla encounters.

Martin Freeman on the role that nearly broke him

He’s the star of The Office who gained global attention for his roles in Sherlock and The Hobbit, but now Martin Freeman has undertaken one of his “grittiest roles to date.”

Playing Detective Steve Fulcher in A Confession, the real-life crime drama follows DS Fulcher as he deliberately breaches police protocol to catch a killer.

“He’s been through it a bit Steve, so I hope he’s vaguely happy with what we’ve done. The primary tragedy in this is the death of two young children and the devastating effect that had on their families, which obviously most of us can’t imagine. But behind the tragedy, something pretty bad happened to this guy. I think he did something that most of us, most lay people would think ‘What a logical common sense approach to trying to get a killer.’"

Martin Freeman on playing Detective Steve Fulcher

Martin joins us to tell us about working with an all star cast, why the role nearly broke him and why he wouldn’t say no to a Sherlock Holmes sequel.
