Sharp End December 6th

As we head closer towards Christmas there are concerns that the new coronavirus variant could dampen the festivities here in Wales. With the rise of Omicron across the globe, will Wales need to introduce more restrictions to limit its spread? Rob Osborne has been to Bridgend to find out if people there are worried about their Christmas plans being cancelled.

In a bid to limit the impact of Omicron here in Wales, the Health Minister is urging those who have not been vaccinated to take up the offer. Eluned Morgan also tells Rob the Welsh Government is working with nurses to prevent them from going on strike.

And a quarter of Senedd members, who responded to a Sharp End survey, said they considered leaving their job because of the abuse they receive. To get their take on the matter, Rob is joined by three sitting members and a Cardiff councillor to hear their thoughts on security for politicians in Wales.
