Sharp End January 17th

It's a new year and Sharp End is back. Kicking off the show in 2022, Rob Osborne has been to Caernarfon to find out how hospitality businesses have been coping under the recent Covid restrictions. He's spoken to a local hotelier who says it's not just Covid that's worrying him but also rising utility bills, which is putting added strain on his livelihood.

Discussing what support is out there, Rob chats to the Economy Minister Vaughan Gething about how the Welsh Government will help the sector weather the storm.

Also on the show, as the Prime Minister comes under increasing pressure following parties at Downing Street, we speak to Andrew RT Davies on what he thinks the future has in store for Boris Johnson.

And joining Rob in the studio is Labour's Sarah Murphy and Plaid Cymru's Luke Fletcher along with Sam Rowlands of the Conservatives from his constituency office.
