Series 1

Episode 1

Logan Mountstuart is a student at Oxford in the 1920s, aspiring to become a great novelist but even more desperate to lose his virginity. Seemingly trapped by a promise to his dying father to join the family corned beef company.

Episode 2

Logan seems to have it all: success as a writer, a position in society and a large country estate. But when true love really does hit him how will Logan cope when faced with the fact that life is random and uncontrollable?

Episode 3

With the outbreak of WWII, Logan is recruited as a British Agent by Ian Fleming. Foreign assignments lead to encounters with the formidable Duke and Duchess of Windsor. While the world is in turmoil, Logan’s domestic life is bliss.

Episode 4

Logan meets the mesmeric Gloria, Peter’s third wife, and although the future is uncertain it would appear that history may be about to repeat itself.

Episode 5

Events in New York force Logan to quickly leave America and he starts to adjust to a more meagre life in England. It is the 1970s and for Logan, reality bites.

Episode 6

Logan's past throws him an unexpected lifeline and Logan embarks on his final adventure and his final love with the passion of a man with a big heart.
