In 1906, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his secretary Alfred Wood investigate the case of George Edalji, an Anglo-Indian solicitor imprisoned for a crime he claims he did not commit.

Episode 2

Woodie suspects that George is after all the Wyrley Ripper, but Arthur is not convinced and revisits the police. Then the local blacksmith is found dead.
