1. Catering

Bren wants to teach the work experience girl about a typical day in the canteen, but then the work experience boy jams a 20ft ladder right across the cooker.

2. Trouble

Jean is taking the departure of her husband with a Welsh dental hygenist badly, and her yelling puts Tony off his plan to ask Bren to go to Marbella with him.

3. Holidays

Bren is so excited about her holiday with Tony that she might even buy some decent clothes. Stan, however, has some sad news about his father, and Petula is doing dangerous things with the gas in her caravan.

4. Fog

The Blood Donor van has come to the factory and an escaped convict from Strangeways Prison is on the loose. And Bren is upset when she sees Tony's holiday photos.

5. Gamble

Stan is furious with Philippa for failing to save the fuse bulbs on last year's Christmas lights. The ladies, meanwhile, are desperate for Bren and Tony to get it together - mainly because they've got a bet on.

6. Dinnerladies Christmas Special 1999

It's Christmas Eve, and all is not well in the canteen. Bren has blown it with Tony, and Petula's hopes of a family Christmas are thwarted by Twinkle and Stan. Could things get any worse?

It's February and the winds of change are blowing through the canteen. The new self-cleaner system starts today, depriving Bren of her favourite part of the job.

10. Toast

It's 29th February and Stan is hoping for a marriage proposal. Meanwhile, Bren is busy being coached for her big television opportunity and Dolly is so upset by the new uniforms that she may have to go and live in Cheshire.
