After a long summer apart, Ephram and Amy are reunited - and Bright's pumped about what's ahead for everyone. Amy's euphoria soon disappears, though.

2. ...There Is a Reaction

Dr Abbott is fuming over the buzz around Dr Hartman's new practice, Amy is heartbroken, and Andy contemplates telling Ephram about Madison’s pregnancy.

3. Staking Claim

Andy tries to console Delia about her friendship woes at school, Ephram regrets making a promise to Nina as it’s interrupting his relationship, and Amy develops a refreshing new friendship.

4. The Birds & The Batteries

Andy treats a patient who needs a transplant but won't tell his wife, Ephram attempts to write Amy a love letter, and Delia stumbles across something private belonging to Nina.

An anxious Dr Abbott tries to think up a medical invention to copy Doctors Brown & Hartman, Andy picks a fight with someone he shouldn’t have, and someone asks Nina out on a date.

Andy takes on too much in trying to help a woman and her disabled husband, and later worries that Ephram is questioning his chances of success.

Bright invites Hannah to see a film together, but Hannah misinterprets something. Plus, Andy & Harold hatch a plan together to convince their children not to sleep with each other.

Andy and Amanda experience a miraculous breakthrough in their music therapy, and Ephram asks his piano mentor Will for advice on selecting the music for his audition.

Amy and Ephram decide to ignore their parents and take their relationship to the next level, and Andy and Amanda act as chaperones to Delia and Charlie.

Jake’s brother comes to visit and confides he doesn’t see a future for Jake and Nina, while Amy finds she has been accepted into college - but doesn’t understand how.

20. He Who Hesitates

Rose begins her treatment at the hospital, with Harold's support, Ephram makes a bold move and breaks his father’s heart, and Nina cannot fathom why Andy has been acting so oddly.

The Abbotts gather to hear Rose's doctor share some recent results. Meanwhile, Ephram prepares to leave friends and family for a new life abroad, but then Andy reveals a secret.
