1. Pilot

In 1980, a group of high school students face a multitude of social struggles. While wealthy 'brain' Lindsay wants to rebel, and her geeky freshman brother is targeted by a bully.

2. Beers and Weirs

Lindsay decides to host a keg party while her parents are out of town. Meanwhile Sam, Bill, and Neal are worried that the party-goers will get too rowdy!

3. Tricks and Treats

It's Halloween and nothing seem to be going to plan for Sam, Lindsay or their parents.

4. Kim Kelly Is My Friend

Kim befriends Lindsay but she has ulterior motives, while Sam is bullied mercilessly by Karen Scarfolli, whose locker is next to his.

5. Tests and Breasts

Daniel cons Lindsay into helping him pass an algebra test, while Sam and his pals try to figure out the basics of human sexuality.

6. I'm with the Band

Lindsay encourages Nick to pursue a career in music. Nick continues to practice with his current band, but quickly decides he's better than them.

7. Carded and Discarded

Sam, Neal, and Bill make a new friend but fear they will lose her to the popular crowd. Nick, Daniel, and Ken decide to get fake IDs so they can see a hot local band perform.

8. Girlfriends and Boyfriends

Lindsay and Nick get more serious, and her parents give unwanted advice. Sam joins the yearbook club at school hoping he can get closer to Cindy, but she only sees him as a friend.

9. We've Got Spirit

Sam tries out to be the school mascot hoping to impress Cindy. Meanwhile, Daniel, Ken, and Kim suddenly become the basketball team's most rabid fans.

10. The Diary

Lindsay's parents are convinced Kim is leading their daughter down a dangerous path, and Bill is sick of being picked on and being picked last at school.

11. Looks and Books

Lindsay decides to stop hanging out with her "freak" friends and rejoin mathletes. Sam has a new style and hopes to impress Cindy.

12. The Garage Door

Neal finds out his father is having an affair. Lindsay decides to set up ken and the tuba player in the school's marching band.

When Bill talks about being allergic to peanuts, Alan tries to prove he's lying with horrifying consequences. Meanwhile, Lindsay smokes weed for the first time.
