Episode 1

Documentary in which Gino travels the east coast of Italy, beginning in Venice where he tours the waterways and cooks a classic Venetian lunch of cicchetti.

Episode 2

Gino heads South along the Adriatic to visit two UNESCO sites: the town of Ravenna - famed for its byzantine mosaics and the Republic of San Marino, the oldest nation in the world.

Episode 3

Gino visits the hidden gem of the Conero Riviera where he visits an ancient vineyard and cooks up the Italian version of Macaroni cheese.

Episode 4

Gino takes to the skies to visit the remote Islands of Tremiti. He explores the medieval fortress which was once a prison, and cooks up his own twist on a classic steak dinner.

Episode 5

Gino explores the magnificent mountain range of Gargano National Park where he is given a lesson in cheese making.

Episode 6

Gino visits a Masseria, or farmhouse, which grows everything from figs to almonds and of course olives where he prepares a pasta dish, spaghetti al pepperoncino.

Episode 7

Gino gets a lesson in making orecchiette pasta in the unique town of Alberobello, before heading to the stunning city of Lecce.

Episode 8

Gino visits Santa Maria Di Leuca where he meets the priest of Italy's most southerly church and cooks a saffron and chicken risotto.
