Series 18

1. Rookies v Veterans

Eight former contestants are back to take on eight keen rookies. First up is the signature dish challenge, with the veterans trying to create the rookies' meals. Who will impress Gordon early on?

2. A Fond Farewell

The contestants are asked to create a new risotto dish for the Hell's Kitchen menu. Then it's time for the first dinner service of the season.

3. Hell's Riders

All 15 chefs walk into a dining room filled with Marines, where they find out they will have to cook dishes that represent the air, land and sea.

4. Hell Freezes Over

Hell's Kitchen is transformed into a winter wonderland, before the teams take part in a soup challenge ahead of the latest dinner service.

5. Fish Out of Water

The chefs, still reeling from Chef Ramsay's decision to split the teams into men and women, are challenged to cook halibut seven different ways. Later, raw fish causes problems in the dinner service.

6. Hot Potato

The chefs are tasked with creating a dish with potato as its star. Later, there's a shock in store when news spreads that one of the contestants has left.

7. Last Chef Standing

The chefs are tasked with recreating five dishes by Chef Ramsay, but one team member has to leave every couple of minutes until it's one chef standing.

8. One Hell of a Party

Chef Ramsay introduces the chefs to his daughter Tilly and challenges them to create dishes for her sweet 16. Later, one of the teams struggles during service.

9. What Happens in Vegas

Chef Ramsay asks the teams to prepare authentic Chinese food, and prominent Chinese chef Shirley Chung is brought in to judge their finished dishes.

10. Poor Trev

With the Hell's Kitchen dining room transformed into an Italian bistro, the chefs take on the famous taste test, with a gelato theme.

11. Devilish Desserts

Chef Ramsay challenges the seven remaining hopefuls to cook an extraordinary dessert to be judged by world-renowned chocolatier Valerie Gordon.

12. Break on Through

The final six compete for five black jackets over three challenges - using a random ingredient, each chef using the same ingredients, and cooking surf and turf.

13. An Episode of Firsts

The five chefs compete in Chef Ramsay's Taste It, Now Make It challenge, recreating his intricate eggs benedict dish. Later, a poor service shocks everyone.

14. What's Your Motto

The chefs undertake a tableside challenge, creating dishes for esteemed brigades acting as judges. Later, elimination surprises everyone, including Chef Ramsay.

15. A Rollercoaster Ride

Following emotional reunions with their proud parents, Chef Ramsay tasks the final two chefs with creating five meals in only 60 minutes, with the winner earning first pick for their brigade in the final challenge.

16. The Grand Finale
