Series 1

Episode 1

After Peter's brother disappears, he forces himself to return to his work as a solicitor, where he finds himself dealing with two very different cases.

Episode 2

A young woman from Eastern Europe arrives in distress at the office. As Peter investigates the call on Simon's mobile, he discovers that his brother owed money to many people.

Episode 3

A fisherman's trawler is wrecked in an explosion and Lyle is sent to investigate further - is there evidence of sabotage? Beatrice has a fling with an artist.

Episode 4

There is chaos in the office. Gloria hasn't shown up for work, Beatrice is plotting to win Alan back - by using Lyle, and there's a squirrel in the attic.

Episode 5

Peter tries to help his latest client - an antiques dealer who is desperate for a divorce from her cross-dressing husband. Hill confronts Peter and demands his money back.

Episode 6
