Series 4

Episode 1

It is now 1928 and Harry Selfridge is at the pinnacle of his power and public celebrity - a retail giant. At home, Rosalie has a daughter, Tatiana, the apple of Harry's eye.

Episode 2

After the accident at the Queen of Time unveiling, Harry is recovering at his country home, but returns to the store to open a new, cutting-edge technology department.

Episode 3

Period drama. It is now the 1920s and Harry makes the acquaintance of Jimmy Dillon, a mysterious entrepreneur, and is happily distracted with new belle Rosie Dolly.

Episode 4

Period drama. Harry throws a typically decadent party that gets out of hand. Back in London, the store staff prepare for a special visitor, and Grove gets a blast from the past.

Episode 5

Period drama. The ground floor of Selfridges is transformed into a movie set, as Double Trouble - starring the Dolly Sisters and acclaimed actor Bumby Wallace - is being filmed.

Episode 6

Period drama. Harry is left reeling in the aftermath of the assault on the store, and is finally forced to admit to D'Ancona the true state of his financial affairs.

Episode 7

Period drama. Harry is determined to get the store - and his life - back on track with a classic, store-wide summer promotion, but Lord Wynnstay is out to make more trouble.

Episode 8

Period drama. Harry, Gordon and Jimmy announce the purchase of Whiteleys. Grove is forced to admit that it is time to retire, while Crabb helps out and makes a worrying discovery.

Episode 9

Period drama. Special preparations are in progress to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Selfridges, while Harry works hard to break the suppliers' embargo of Whiteleys.

Episode 10

Period drama. Jimmy's final act leaves Harry reeling and he retreats from the glare of the tabloid frenzy, isolating himself. Mae contemplates her future and Mardle returns.
