Episode 1

The Bennet family is agog at news of a new tenant at Netherfield Hall. They meet Bingley, his sisters and friend Darcy at a ball, where Bingley is attracted to Jane but Darcy considers the entire gathering beneath him.

Episode 2

A visit from the Bennets' heir throws the family into disarray.

Episode 3

Elizabeth receives an astounding piece of news and Jane's sweet nature is put to the test.

Episode 4

Rejected by Elizabeth, Darcy returns to Rosings Park and writes to her, revealing the truth about Wickham's character.

Episode 5

Darcy is pleased to introduce Elizabeth to his sister Georgiana, and to welcome her and her aunt and uncle to Pemberley. Lizzy receives the devastating news that her sister Lydia has eloped with Mr Wickham.

Episode 6

Mrs Bennett is delighted to have one of her daughters married at last while Elizabeth admits she was wrong about Mr Darcy.
