In the first episode of this classic sitcom starring Terry Scott and June Whitfield, Terry and June are moving house and plan to decorate the new place before they can move in.

Moving day finally arrives and Terry puts himself in charge of operations. He thinks it will be a piece of cake but as usual he bites off more than he can chew and with daughter Wendy's arrival, it looks as though they might not be moving anywhere.

Terry and June’s new carpet doesn’t arrive, so their friend finds a reduced price cut-off.

The new carpet still hasn't arrived and Terry's boss and his wife are coming for drinks on Sunday. The neighbours offer to help as they know a man who can get them a carpet on the cheap, but the new carpet looks strikingly similar to the office one.

When his boss needs a new bridge partner, Terry and June teach themselves to play.

A Bridge too Far

Following an office visit from the Chairman of the Board, Sir Dennis Hodge, Terry volunteers to be his partner in a Bridge Tournament. The only trouble is, he can't play and now has only a week to learn.

An outbreak of childish graffiti is causing Terry consternation.

Christmas special 1980. When Terry’s friend asks him to hide the Christmas present he has bought for his wife, June finds it under the bed and mistakenly thinks it's for her.

Terry’s friend Malcolm receives a Christmas card from another woman, which causes a bust up between him and his wife, Beattie.

After June crashes into Sir Dennis's car, Terry goes to the boss's office.

Malcolm asks Terry to write a report for work over the weekend but he is given the wrong information and can't complete it. So instead Terry helps June do a huge jigsaw puzzle, only to find that the last piece belongs to a different puzzle.
