Series 1

Episode 1

In 1937, the Cazalet family get together for their annual summer holiday at the family home in Sussex.

Episode 2

It's summer 1939 and war looms The children are sent from London to the safety of the countryside. Edward and Diana Macintosh's affair continues but it will be more difficult to keep seeing each other.

Episode 3

As war is officially declared, the family come to terms with new ways of life.

Episode 4

Zoe is told of Rupert's disappearance after the birth of their baby, Juliet.

Episode 5

There is still no news of Rupert, but Clary refuses to give up hope. Neville runs away to Ireland.

Episode 6

Christopher is sent to rest at Home Place while Michael has a big question for Louise.
