Series 1

Episode 1

When Shiv Sheridan lands home in Dublin for her grandmother’s funeral, the family are preparing for the wake. The topic of conversation centres on Shiv and her new sobriety.

Episode 2

Shiv’s first priority is finding a home recovery meeting - then she can get a job. She attends a gritty inner-city meeting where she meets Karen, who offers her some home truths.

Episode 3

Shiv’s efforts to settle back at home are tested when she stumbles on a secret and calls a family meeting for the next day. Her ex, Jack, helps her get a job at an art gallery.

Episode 4

Shiv starts at the gallery where it transpires her new boss Kristen is pregnant with Jack’s baby. The family meeting is a car crash culminating in some huge news about her parents.

Episode 5

In the messy aftermath of the family meeting, animosity grows towards Shiv and sets her on a perilous new path. Ant makes an upsetting discovery, and confronts Shiv about it.

Shiv leaves for London on the day of Caroline’s engagement party, to the relief of the other Sheridans. On her way, she visits her older brother Carl’s grave. Can she stay sober?
