A potentially violent teenager, who was convicted of murder, escapes from a top-security remand centre. She hates her parents, men, and especially Maggie Forbes.

6. Protection

The staff of a Soho restaurant are appalled when they find a human hand among the groceries. The police are called in and Maggie seeks the help of an old acquaintance.

A cafe proprietor is killed, and Maggie must find a possible witness. However, the young girl she wants to question is a heroin addict and is in fear of a man dressed in black.

8. Affray

Some young tearaways invade a student meeting and a riot breaks out. Tempers run high at Seven Dials, with a WPC in Intensive Care as Det-Insp Maggie Forbes and her team deal with a generation who have no love for the police.

9. Black Fox White Vixen

When a famous actress in a long-running telly series receives death threats, Maggie swings into action, but friction with Croft is inevitable when she tries to help a friend of Steve's.

10. One of Those Days

A Bureau de Change is robbed and Maggie is hot on the trail to find out who the man behind the costume is really is. She's the only one who seems to take him seriously - everyone else is busy coping with personal problems.
