Episode 1

Sir Mark Brydon, the British Ambassador to Washington, is the pinnacle of success in the Foreign Office. Only the brightest and best succeed to this post and, at 43, Mark is among the youngest ever to hold the honour.

Episode 2

It's three days since the plane crash and Ambassador Mark Brydon's in-tray is filling up with explosive situations. There's panic among British holidaymakers and expats as the Governor of Virginia arrests all British Muslims in his state.

Episode 3

With fresh information about Private Military Contractors in his hand, Nicholas leaves Washington for London, where he breaks expertly into Anthony Hanley’s flat. In Florida, British hero Luke Gardner's appeal is denied and his death warrant signed.

Episode 4

Luke Gardner has left a posthumous letter for Jane asking her to pick up his kit - two DV tapes and a sheaf of documents that shock Jane to the core. Straight away she realises she can't handle this on her own.

Episode 5

Eshan Borisvitch has been assassinated under Mark Brydon's protection and Downing Street are recalling him to London. Just as it seems that his career is over a lifeline is thrown from an unexpected place.

Episode 6

There aren't many people left for Mark to trust now as he turns to US National Security Adviser Carl Garcia with his hypothesis surrounding the assassination of Eshan. Jane meanwhile has defied her instructions and taken a flight to Tampa.
