Series 1

Episode 1

After being selected for the jury, a juror is caught in a web of lies with her husband, and the accused, Kate Lawson, is painted as a fiend by the prosecution.

Episode 2

Detective Sam Chedid takes the stand as various pieces of evidence are introduced to the Court, some of which raise questions about Nathan Spears’ involvement.

Episode 3

The Crown calls Claire’s best friend to the stand. As the trial gets more complex, so too does the jury room dynamics, as their personal lives become increasingly entangled.

Episode 4

Kate Lawson’s provocative artwork takes centre stage in the court. The Crown raises questions around her artistic methods, as well as revealing a complicated health diagnosis.

Episode 5

Claire’s father, Nathan Spears, is called to the stand. His portrait of Kate is anything but flattering, but will the tables be turned on him?

Episode 6

The jurors are taken to Kate's house to observe a demonstration of the Crown's case theory, before Kate's brother, Robbie, takes the stand.

Claire’s mother, Diane, takes the stand. In support of her sister Kate, she throws suspicion elsewhere as she further reveals more tumultuous details.

Episode 8

When Claire’s boarding school mistress, Fiona, takes the stand, a shock revelation changes the course of the trial. Jury room dynamics are tested as tensions reach boiling point.

Episode 9

Nathan's statement under oath enrages Kate who refuses Colby’s advice not to testify, but will the secret between Kate and her sister explode under the pressure of the revelations?

Episode 10

The jury is sequestered after the full story of Kate Lawson’s connection to a historical crime is revealed; and the jury’s verdict is finally handed down.
