Series 4

1. Growing Pains

Elena awakens after the accident to discover she died with vampire blood in her system. Bonnie pays for trying to change Elena's fate.

Elena has to try to cope with the extreme highs and lows of becoming a vampire, while Stefan and Damon almost come to blows arguing over what is best for her.

3. The Rager

Elena learns that confronting Rebekah can be dangerous. Tyler gets a surprise visit from Hayley, a werewolf who helped him with Klaus.

4. The Five

Damon goes with Elena and Bonnie to visit Whitmore College. At a fraternity costume party, Damon takes advantage of the wild scene to give Elena a lesson in choosing a victim.

5. The Killer

Stefan and Klaus form an uneasy alliance to try and put an end to the trouble Connor has caused. Caroline is surprised to find Hayley at the Lockwood mansion.

6. We All Go a Little Mad Sometimes

Terrifying hallucinations leave Elena shaken and confused, causing her to make a dangerous mistake. After giving Stefan disturbing news, Klaus takes matters into his own hands.

7. My Brother's Keeper

Caroline does her best to support Stefan and Elena as they go through a tough time. Damon is determined to uncover Professor Shane's motives.
