Meet our panel of industry experts that Nicole & Simon have enlisted to help identify, nurture and formulate all of the talented would-be band members on X Factor: The Band.
Watford’s very own MOBO Award-winning producer, DJ & songwriter, Naughty Boy has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Wiley, Leona Lewis, JLS and Cheryl to name a few. He first cut his teeth back in 2009 with Chipmunk’s ‘Diamond Rings’ which included a pre-fame Emeli Sande. His breakthrough as a lead artist came in the form of his 2013 number 1 single, ‘La La La’ featuring then-newcomer, Sam Smith.
Norwegian Grammy-winning, platinum-selling record producer, songwriter and record executive Fred Ball has worked with pop royalty such as Madonna, Little Mix, MIA and Kylie Minogue. Fred's been nominated for a Grammy four times with him finally winning this year for Best Urban Contemporary Album with the track ‘Everything Is Love’ for Beyoncé and Jay Z’s joint album, “The Carters”.
Carla-Marie has been nominated for two Grammy awards for her work on Beyoncé’s game-changing album, “Lemonade”. Closer to home Carla’s work on Girls Aloud’s ‘The Promise’ went on to win a Brit Award! Carla has worked with BBC Sound of 2017’s Ray BLK as well as the up-and-coming artist, Mabel. She also founded the Girls I Rate movement to empower and support women in the music industry.
Brooklyn’s own Lil’ Eddie is best known as a singer-songwriter but also as vocal coach extraordinaire on The X Factor US! His work as a songwriter has seen him gain credits on tracks with huge names in the music industry such as Diddy, Usher, Janet Jackson, Fifth Harmony and our very own Rak-Su.
