DAVID AND JAVIER

David (33) and Javier (31) are a same-sex salsa duo from Barcelona, who met and started dancing together in June 2011. Javier travelled from his home in Mexico in 2009looking to learn ballroom and salsa dance professionally. The duo won 3rd place Same Gender Salsa World Latin Dance Cup and 2nd place in Campeonato Internacional de Pasos. David and Javier have also been finalists in Spain’sGot Talent 2016 and 2017, but want to share their dancing with a wider audience through Britain’s Got Talent.

ANDREW LANCASTER

32-year-old Andrew from Lancashire is a freelance actor, now living with his wife inMéxico. Andrew has only been performing impressions on stage for two years and turned professional in the last six months. Although Andrew is passionate about acting, he has struggled to make it his full-time career, taking many other jobs to make ends meet, such as; a cab driver, a bin man, working in a biscuit factory and a supermarket. Andrew is hoping Britain’s Got Talent will be an opportunity to finally show people what he can do on stage.

JENNY DARREN

Jenny is a 68-year-old retired performer from Birmingham, living in Cirencester. Jenny lives on her own and doesn’t have any children, she spends a lot of time with her close circle of friends from the rock scene. Although Jenny is officially retired, she has her own rock band named, Jenny Darren and The Ladykillers, whom she performs with at least four times a week. Jenny’s band has only been together for a year, but Jenny has been a professional singer with various other bands for over 45 years. Jenny appeared on Opportunity Knocks in the 60s and has released several albums, she has also supported ACDC on tour. Jenny is auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent in the hope of getting back into the music industry.

JIM THE DANCER

Jim Fitzpatrick(59) lives in Streatham, London. For 40 years Jim worked as a baker but is currently unemployed. Jim began making YouTube videos of his dancing seven years ago with his friend Dennis. Sadly, Dennis passed away in February 2016. Last year Jim entered Britain’s Got Talent to show the world what he and his friend created, and this year he is back to showcase even more of his act. Jim hopes the British public will enjoy both his costumes and choreography.

KAPTAIN ROCK

Kaptain Rock is a guitar missionary from the Planet Rock. He was sent to planet Earth by his boss Mr X in 2015, after being awarded his lightsaber guitar to aid his mission to save the world through rock music. Kaptain Rock has entered Britain’s GotTalent as he hopes he will inspire the audience and judges to pick up a guitar.

RADU-ALEXANDRU PATRUNSU

Radu is a32-year-old builder and electrician from Romania, he lives with flatmates in London. In his spare time, Radu likes to practice holistic therapy but says his clients currently consist of family and friends only, his dancing forms part of this therapy. Although Radu hasn’t had any professional training in dancing, he has had 10 years of Martial Arts training which has influenced the development of his dancing style.

FATHER RAY KELLY

Father Ray Kelly(64) is a Catholic Priest in his parish of Oldcastle, Co. Meath in Ireland. FatherRay became a priest in 1982 and says that being able to sing during daily mass is one of the joys of being a Priest. In 2005, he hired a studio and recorded an album, which he sold locally to raise money for charity, and did the same again in 2008. After a video of Father Ray singing at a wedding went viral online he had global interest, being invited onto talk shows in the USA and Australia as well as performing on the Late Show in Ireland. In 2014 and 2015Father Ray released two more albums and although they did well in Ireland, they never really reached the rest of the UK. Father Ray is entering Britain’s GotTalent as he would love to share his talent with the whole of the UK.

CALI SWING

Cali Swing are a group of 10 dancers aged 9-14 years old, living in London. All the children in the group are from a Latin American background and want to show off their culture on the BGT stage. The Cali Swing group started 13 years ago by choreographer, Saulo who only had five children in his class at the start but now he teaches over 80 children.

LOST VOICE GUY

37-year-old Lee Ridley lives in Newcastle, were he works as a full-time stand-up comedian. Lee has cerebral palsy, and after falling ill as a baby was left unable to speak. He uses a “text-to-speech” app on his iPad to communicate. Before working in comedy Lee studied journalism, and worked for BBC Newcastle and the Sunday Sun newspaper, and was a communications officer at Sunderland City Council. Lee’s has had some success in his career in comedy throughout the years, he won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014, he has appeared on The One Show, Scot Squad, regional news and BBC Breakfast news. Lee is auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent because he believes that it will be a great opportunity for him to grow both as a performer and a person. Lee wants to prove that disabled people are just like everyone else, and are allowed to have a sense of humour.

ANDRAS LOVAS

46-year-old Andreas is from Hungary, he currently works as a Sound Technician and is constantly surrounded by music. Although Andras has not performed in front of an audience before, he regularly practices his singing in a Community Centrehall. Andras’ music is his own creation, it is all operatic improvisation and no words are written down.

GIANG BROTHERS

Quoc Co (33) and Quoc Nghiep (29) are brothers from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The brothers have followed in their Father and Grandfather’s footsteps to become circus performers, but they are the first members of their family to perform all over the world, performing in over 30 countries. They have performed on TV shows It's Showtime, Le Plus Grand Cabaret Du Monde and attained the Guinness world record for ‘most stairs climbed while balancing a person on the head’, where they walked up 90 steps at the Saint Mary’s Cathedral in Girona in Spain. Britain’s Got Talent is shown in Vietnam and the duo has always wanted to audition to make Vietnam proud.

RISE

RISE are a group of 11 dancers aged between 10 -24 years old, their choreographer, Thea (24), is also part of the group. The group perform a dance with wheelchairs to help one of the members, Hollie Booth, get back into dancing following injuries she sustained during the Manchester terror attack in 2017.
