Ten years ago cheesy brother-sister duo Same Difference made their mark on The X Factor - getting to the final.

But Sean Smith has now split with his sister Sarah and unveiled a new sexy look ahead of the release of his debut solo single Magic.

He said: "You have to reinvent yourself and make the most of yourself. I was almost asexual when I was Sean from Same Difference. Now I just feel like I can just be myself and talk about all these things."

He revealed he originally auditioned as a solo star on The X Factor before producers suggested they should join forces.

"It wasn't the intention to be a duo" he said. "You go through rounds with the producers and they thought we would work perfectly together and Same Difference was born. A lot of people may have felt it was odd (singing love songs together) . I get it."

Talking about their split last year he said: "On The X Factor you get a certain shelf life. It came to an end unfortunately. It was a mutual decision.

"It's not like a bad break-up. We love each other to bits, we always will, Sarah is absolutely flying at the moment, I couldn't be prouder, she has turned a church into a dance studio."

Viewers were shown a clip from Sean's raunchy new video and the ladies - especially Coleen - were left very impressed.
