X FACTOR SINGER CHICO ON SURVIVING A STROKE: 'I'M A WALKING, TALKING MIRACLE'
X Factor star Chico Slimani joined us for his first TV interview after suffering a stroke to raise awareness of the signs to look out for.
Chico suffered a stroke two weeks ago while driving home from a gig. When he eventually went to the doctors a couple of days later he immediately sent to hospital for treatment.
An emotional Chico paid tribute to the doctors who treated him and talked about how thankful he is to be alive, 'I'm a walking, talking miracle.'
He cried as he described how he thought of his children, Lalla Khira, 12, and son Zacharia, eight, when he felt like he was dying.
Our Andrea read out a letter from Chico’s doctor which revealed how ill he had been, 'It showed a large stroke on the MRI, I even questioned if I had the right scan. He has made a remarkable recovery. I have never seen a case like this before in my career.'
