The moments before a collision between two horses and a car in Cambridgeshire

Two riders and their horses are recovering well after being hit by a car near Ely in Cambridgeshire.

Nearby CCTV captured the collision which happened in Witcham on Friday. One of the riders was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with minor injuries. Police are now investigating the incident.

The riders had come from the Witcham Equestrian Centre. In a statement on their Facebook page they have said both riders and horses are recovering well.
