Baby Beatrix is a big hit with Luton striker Danny Hylton
Luton Town striker Danny Hylton helped fire his team back to the top of SkyBet EFL League Two... but it was eight month old Hatters fan Beatrix Meynell-Mendes who hogged the headlines.
His goal celebration with the youngster was captured by the satellite TV cameras covering the fixture against Barnet last Saturday evening (March 24)
Hylton made a bee-line towards Beatrix, who was in the arms of dad Robin with wife Clare. They were watching in the Kenilworth Road end as the Hatters secured a valuable 2-0 win.
And after receiving an e-mail from Beatrix (with help from dad) the Hatters' front man invited the Meynell-Mendes family to the club's training ground for a proper catch-up.
He also presented Beatrix, who was at her first game, with a replica home kit and a match-ball signed by the Luton squad.
Hylton had a lot to celebrate. The goal which came two minutes after half time was his eighteenth of the season, and his first since returning from injury.
