Coastguard rescues tour boat carrying 27 in Essex

A tour boat carrying 27 passengers had to be rescued after it ran aground at Great Oakley, Essex.

It was carrying children and elderly people when it became stuck in mud and the tide began to fall.

A number of lifeboats came to the rescue and took everyone onboard to Harwich Lifeboat station where they were checked by paramedics.
