Fireworks near you: Guide to the region's displays
Grab your sparklers! Here are just some of the many firework events and bonfires taking place across Anglia this weekend:
- Big Boom Fireworks
Where/When: Norwich city centre, NR2 1NH from 7.30pmPrice: FREE
- Kimbolton Fireworks Spectacular
Where/When: Kimbolton Castle, Kimbolton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE28 0EA. Gates open at 6pm.Price: Tickets are 12.50 per adult and Children under 16 are free as is parking on site.
- Blues Fireworks Display andFunfair
Where/ When: Bedford Blues Rugby Club, Goldington Road. Gates open at 6pm with displays starting from 7pm.Price:£8
- Rackheath Firework Display 2018
Where/ When: Rackheath, Norwich, NR13 6LT at 6:00pmPrice: Adult tickets £5/ Under 16s £2
- Fawkes in the Walks
Where/ When: The Walks, King’s Lynn, PE30 1PE. Bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 8pm.Price: FREE
- Fireworks Extravaganza at Wicksteed Park
Where/When: Wicksteed Park, Barton Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire NN156NJ. Starts at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit at 7.15pm and Fireworks Display at around 8pm.Price: £5 on the night.
- Hadleigh Fireworks
Where/ When: The Mill Field, Hadleigh. Fireworks start at 8pm.Price: £5 per adult/ £4 for under 16s/ Under 5s free admission.
- Hunstanton Bonfire Night
Where/ When: Hunstanton Cliff Car Park, Hunstanton, Norfolk at 5:00pm. Price: Cars £10/ Adults (on foot) £5/ Children and over 65’s (on foot) £2.
- Chelmsford Fireworks 2018
Where/When: Admirals Park, Chelmsford. Starts at 4pm and fireworks launch approximately 7.30pm.Price: Online tickets - Adults £7, children(3-16) £4.
- Firework Spectacular
Where/ When: The Lighthouse Inn, Walcott, NR12 0PE. Gates open 5.30pm. Price: Advance tickets - Family ticket £20 / Single ticket £10 01692 650371/www.lighthouseinn.co.uk. On the night family ticket will be £30/ Single tickets will be £15.
- Christchurch Park Fireworks, Ipswich
Where/ When: Christchurch Park. The event kicks off from 6pm. Price: Adults £7/ Children £5.
- Bury St Edmunds Firework Spectacular
Where/ When: Abbey Gardens. The gates open at 5.30pm and the fireworks will start at7.30pm. Price: £15 for a family ticket/ £5 for an adult/ £4 for a child.
- Fireworks in Hemingford
Where/ When: Park Field, off London Road, St Ives. Gates open 5.00 p.m. Bonfire lit at 5.30pm and the fireworks show starts at 6.30pm. Price: Tickets cost £10 for an advance purchase family ticket on info@fireworksinhemingford.uk. Single tickets will be available at the gate on the night- Adults are £5/ Children under 16 £2.
- St Alban Cathedral Fireworks Spectacular
Where/When: Verulamium Park, St Albans. Gates 6pm, display 7.30pm. Price: Advanced tickets from Adult £7/ Under-16s £3 from https://www.stalbanscathedral.org/whatson/special-events/fireworks-spectacular-2018.At the gate adult £10/ Under-16s £5.
- Filby Fireworks
Where/ When: Filby Playing field on the main A149. Gates open at 5pm, fireworks start at7pm. Price: Adult £4/ Child £2.
- Hitchin Fireworks
Where/When: Hitchin Priory, Tilehouse Street, Hitchin. Gates open at 4pm and the display is at 7pm. Price: Advance tickets- adult £6/ under 14s £3. On the gate adult £8/ under 14s £5.
- Felixstowe Firework Spectacular
Where/ When: Felixstowe and Walton Utd FC Goldstar Ground, Dellwood Avenue. The event starts at 4.30pm and there is a list of activities taking place until 8pm. The firework extravaganza begins at 6.30pm. Price: Adult tickets cost £8/ Children cost £5.
- Mendlesham Fireworks
Where/ When: Mendlesham playing field, Station Road. Gates open at 6pm and fireworks will start at 6.30pm. Price: Adults cost £4/ Under 16’s cost £2.
- North Walsham display
Where/ When: Memorial Park in N Walsham. Free. Food and drinks are available from 5pm with display about 6.15 pm
- Thorpe Fireworks Display
Where/ When: Fitzmaurice Park, Thorpe St Andrew, NR7 0UN at 7:00pm. Price: Family £10/ Adults £3/ Children £2 (under-2s free).
- Colchester Castle Park Fireworks
Where/ When: Colchester Castle Park, High St, Colchester CO1 1UG. Fun and games will start at 6pm when the gates open. Price: Adults £9.50/ Children £4.50- Tickets are not available on the gate so must be bought in advance from the Mercury Theatre Office or from the Visitor Information Centre.
- Cambridge Bonfire Night
Where/When: Midsummer Common, Cambridge. Bonfire, food stalls and fairground rides 6pm – 10pm. The first firework will be launched at 7pm followed by the lighting of the bonfire.Price: Free- A donation of £3 is encouraged to support this event.
