The new man at the helm of Workington Reds is a familiar face - as Derek Townsley has been promoted from Assistant Manager to Manager.
He succeeds Gavin Skelton, the man who brought him back to Borough Park, for his first managerial position.
He'll be supported by more Workington favourites, as Lee Andrews and David Hewson will form his back up team.
Townsley was born in Carlisle, and played for Northbank, Gretna, Queen of the South, Motherwell, Hibernian, and Oxford United.
He also played for Workington in the Conference North, then had spells at Newcastle Blue Star and Penrith.
He finished his playing career at Annan Athletic, where he became player/coach, before joining Workington Reds as Assistant Manager last year.
