Rotherham robber sentenced to ten years in prison
A Rotherham man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for robbing a vulnerable 65-year-old woman in her Sheffield home.
Nicky Rees, 41, of Mount Pleasant Road, Rotherham appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on Friday 27 October to receive his sentence, after being found guilty by jury of one count of robbery.
Rees was arrested in early May after officers investigating the incident used DNA and CCTV evidence to link him to the crime.
A second man is believed to have been involved in the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing to identify him.
